2. General

The protection of your personal data is important to us. We process your data exclusively on the basis of statutory provisions (GDPR, BDSG, TDDDG).

3. Server log files

Each time our website is accessed, the following information is processed automatically: truncated IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type, operating system, referrer URL. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in stable and secure operation). Storage period: max. 14 days.

4. Contact form and email contact

When you use our contact form, we process salutation, first and last name, email address, phone number, subject and message. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) (responding to your enquiry). Storage period: until the request is handled, at most until the end of statutory retention periods (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO – up to 10 years).

5. Cookies

We only use technically necessary cookies to store your cookie-banner choice (cookie „user-consent“, lifetime 100 days, legal basis § 25 (2) (2) TDDDG). We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies. If consent-requiring services are integrated in the future, this will only happen after your explicit consent (§ 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).

6. Google Fonts (self-hosted)

We use the Saira Condensed font self-hosted on our own server. No connection to Google servers is established when the page is loaded.

7. hCaptcha (spam protection)

We use hCaptcha, a service provided by Intuition Machines, Inc., USA, to protect the contact form against automated access and spam. hCaptcha uses technical and interaction data (such as the IP address, time spent on the page and mouse movements) to determine whether a form is being submitted by a human. Processing supports pre-contractual measures under Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and our legitimate interest in protecting the website against abuse under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Intuition Machines processes the data as a processor; information about processing and possible transfers to the USA is available in the hCaptcha Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

8. Hosting

Our website is hosted by an external service provider with whom we have entered into a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

9. Your rights as a data subject

You have the right to:

• erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)

• restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

• data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

10. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority

11. Status and changes

Status of this privacy policy: July 2026. We reserve the right to update this declaration to reflect changes in the legal framework or changes to our services.
